Jiri, I'm sorry about being unclear. That resulted from splitting the various
minor issues from one big useless report (never sent) into separate reports,
and being in hurry.
I found this in the installed /boot/grub/menu.lst file, but I'm afraid, I've
modified it a few times without saving the original. But I bet, this behavior
will show up in any new install of rc1 or factory ATM, as I kept the defaults
of a fresh install on a system with XP and two other openSUSEs installed (where
the boot menu entries of the latters are lost anyway:
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=395085).
In order to rephrase:
- the memory test boot option showed up as the first entry
in /boot/grub/menu.lst (and on the screen), while it belongs at the end of
the list as being the least interesting selection for normal users (IMHO),
but keep it as it's very useful for admins hunting random segfaults.
- It carries all linux kernel options, which are rather useless
Is this acceptable as a report now (as these are genuine logical issues, the
YaST logs aren't that helpful either, are they)?
