https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=396186 Summary: KDE Login Manager Does Not Request Root Access Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: RC 1 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: ahowarth@iinet.net.au QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Beta-Customer In RC1, the KDE Login Manager portion of the systems settings utility does not request root level access by default when the user requests to configure the login manager. Subsequently, the Login Manager configuration items are disabled. A user wishing to configure login manager has to resort to the terminal with su - and systemsettings and then run the login manager as root. This is obscure and frustrates users trying to configure the login manager. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
