https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=395510 Summary: mono .mdb debug files placed incorrectly on filesystem Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Beta 3 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: wberrier@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de CC: coolo@novell.com, mls@novell.com, ro@novell.com Found By: --- When building a package that has mono related .mdb files, the files are placed in: /usr/lib/debug/... really, they should be layed down where they were gathered from. Example, currently mono-basic has these debug files: /usr/lib/debug/usr/lib/mono/2.0/vbnc.exe.mdb But to be useful it has to be in: /usr/lib/mono/2.0/vbnc.exe.mdb Is there a way to have to the debug scripts do this? It's useful to have the .mdb files in -debuginfo packages in order to make the normal packages smaller. But, there's no point in putting them in the debug package if they are located in the wrong spot. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
