https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=395225 Summary: Doing a folder copy from nautilus with a mounted dav:// share produces unexpected results Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Beta 3 Platform: i586 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: eward@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Problem - If the user attempts to copy a folder using nautilus from a mounted dav:// share to their desktop, instead of the folder being copied to their desktop an html file is generated that shows the file listing of the folder instead of the folder and it's content. This is different behavior then SLED10SP2. Steps to Reproduce - Mount a WebDAV share. You can do this in nautilus or via the command line like this gvfs-mount dav://151.155.248.9/WebDAV/ - Once the WebDAV share is mounted open up nautilus and navigate to the share. There should be a bookmark or some other type of icon under the places column within nautilus for the WebDAV share that was mounted in the previous step. - Once you have navigated into the WebDAV share using nautilus, Drag and Drop a folder from the share point onto your desktop. At this point an html file should get generated instead of doing a folder copy from the WebDAV share. It might be worth noting that if the user drags a file instead of a folder from the WebDAV share, then it is successfully copied to their desktop. Expected Results - The user should be able to successfully do a folder drag and drop operation using nautilus from a WebDAV mount point to their local desktop. NOTE: It might also be worth noting that a copy and paste operation of a folder from a WebDAV point also creates an html file instead of a folder copy operation if the destination is the same WebDAV share as the original folder. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
