https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=392591 Summary: "zypper -r <repo> -t package" not giving expected results Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Factory Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: libzypp AssignedTo: zypp-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: snorp@novell.com QAContact: dmacvicar@novell.com Found By: --- Created an attachment (id=216869) --> (https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=216869) Tarball of solver test case I used to use 'rug up <channel>' quite a bit back in the day for upgrading a certain set of packages. For instance if you had a channel (repo) with one product's packages you could easily just upgrade those instead of the whole system. The analog to that with zypper appears to be 'zypper up -r <repo> -t package'. Unfortunately, running that says there is nothing to do -- even though 'zypper up -t package' includes packages in the repo that I had requested. I've attached a solver test case, which hopefully helps. The exact command I ran was 'zypper up -r mozilla-beta -t package'. I believe the test case contains information describing exactly what 'mozilla-beta' refers to. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
