I use knetworkmanager for this ( KDE4 ) My configuration,no essid broadcast, WPA/RSA, I use networkmanager ( no ifup, doesn't work with ifup ). Other information in others distros ( in case is usefull information ). Opensuse 10.2 Work only with ifup ( no problem after that ) Kubuntu 8.04 No connection in live o installed system. Mandriva 2008.1 KDE One, No connection in live, but work perfect with installed system ( with the same config from live ) I'm using a Dell Vostro 1500.
