Installing and proper working is now only possible with acpi=off option. I tried to install my atheros AR2413 network card yust as i did in 10.1. copied the Windows AR5211.sys and net5211.inf to a sub-directory wlan in my home directory. Openend a Shell konsole, logged in as su. system:/home/thuis # ndiswrapper -i /home/thuis/wlan/net5211.inf system:/home/thuis # ndiswrapper -l net5211 : driver installed device (168c:001a) present system:/home/thuis # ndiswrapper -m adding "alias wlan0 ndiswrapper" to etc/modprobe.d/ndiswrapper ... system:/home/thuis # modprobe ndiswrapper system:/home/thuis # iwconfig lo no wireless extensions eth0 no wireless extensions system:/home/thuis # After this I went to Yast2 / Network card I found there my Realtek RTL-8169 properly configured as eth0 and Ethernet Network Card (not connected) BusID : 0000:00:08:0 (this is the atheros AR2413 card).
