Just want to add a note that I managed to get this working by jumping through hoops: - install barebone openSuSE via QEMU (I used openSuSE 10.3) - create a empty coLinux image - mount a coLinux image within QEMU, and copy the contents of / to the coLinux partition. - exit QEMU and boot the new image in coLinux.
