https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=382202 Summary: Yast2 software manager does not close properly Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Factory Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: dave.plater@yahoo.co.uk QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- Created an attachment (id=209486) --> (https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=209486) last 2 logs When running software manager and selecting some packages and then clicking the close wiget X normally on the right of the window title bar or close in the window menu, you are presented with the choice to abandon or cancel. If you click cancel, which would normally cancel the close command, the window exits but y2base sw_single qt does not exit. This prevents you from starting software manager again due to another process using package manager. If you use the cancel button (the equivalent of F9 in ncurses) and then select cancel the abort action is canceled and you are returned to software manager. When you kill the process y2base sw_single qt you are presented with an X message which I have copied and attached with my logs. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
