Looking carefully at your screenshots in comment #8 and comment #9, I
can already see that this is not “Albany AMT” (the glyph for the digit
“1” looks very different in “Albany AMT” than what we see in your
screenshot, it does not have a horizontal line at the bottom at all).

Therefore, your KDE3 clock should use a replacement and as no
particular replacement for “Albany AMT” is defined in our default
fontconfig setup (but “Albany AMT” is marked as a sans-serif font in
/etc/fonts/suse-generic-names.conf), the default sans-serif font will
be used. And this is “DejaVu Sans” on your system (because this is
what “fc-match sans” matches on your system).

And indeed, the font in your screensshots seems to be “DejaVu Sans”.
