https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=377885 Summary: /etc/xdg/autostart/hplip-systray.desktop runs hp-systray in any case Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Alpha 3 Platform: All OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: ASSIGNED Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Printing AssignedTo: jsmeix@novell.com ReportedBy: jsmeix@novell.com QAContact: jsmeix@novell.com CC: coolo@novell.com Found By: Development /etc/xdg/autostart/hplip-systray.desktop runs hp-systray even if there is no print queue for a HPLIP device. It is not possible that each driver package just runs its own tray application by default regardless if the driver is needed at all. I will try to I add a /usr/bin/hp-systray.wrapper which is called by /etc/xdg/autostart/hplip-systray.desktop The wrapper tests if there is a print queue with hp:/ device URI and only if yes, it starts hp-systray otherwise it exits silently. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
