https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=374757 Summary: critical battery->suspend to disk is completely useless Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: dscho@users.sf.net QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- When selecting action "suspend to disk" when the battery reaches critical levels, instead of just suspending, as it should do, it first issues "init 0", which refutes the whole exercise. The _really_ annoying part of it is: if you already selected suspend to disk, you do not want to lose your data. But that is exactly what the "init 0" -- which is executed _after_ resuming -- does. Even the open links in firefox are _not_ saved, since it is an "init 0", which does not interrupt, but quit firefox. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
