https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=372737 Summary: No 3D desktop effects enabled by default (with GMA950 chipset) Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Alpha 3 Platform: i386 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: Live Medium AssignedTo: nc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: probono@myrealbox.com QAContact: coolo@novell.com Found By: Beta-Customer I would expect from a modern desktop distribution that 3D desktop effects (Composite, Fusion, Compiz,... something like that) to be enabled by default when running on a laptop with an integrated Intel GMA950 graphics card. Most other live CDs do this by default now (including Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Knoppix, and others). Maybe this can make it into 11.0 final... Especially KDE4 is said to have nice 3D desktop effects, so I was a bit surprised that I don't see them in the default configuration of the Live CD. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
