The name to call the app would be interesting, as there shows nothing in
kick-off menu.
I know this might be taboe, but when i have installed a version of psi-win, (in
windows), i am able to 'see', and communicate with the psion.
So what i tried, is to call the app, to connect to the psion, after i connected
the psion to the serial port of the PC.
As you might know, psi-win is for making back-ups, install software from cd,
syncronize data with organizer, these kind of things.
A directory has to be made to storage the back-ups, so they can be put back,
when something might go wrong, like empty battery, no location to charge,
back-up battery empty, while battery leaves holder, accidentaly deleted
database, whatever can happen.
And i presumed that the psion modules, are also for these activities...
I have never used linux before to back-up my psion.
It has still original epoc sw on it, and i am upgrading it to a netbook, by
upgrading the memory and install a netbook image, with wifi software.
I never use windows anymore, and that is the reason to migrate psion to linux.
