https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=371823 Summary: multimedia keys not recognized correctly Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Alpha 2 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: timmi@gmx-topmail.de QAContact: qa@suse.de CC: sndirsch@novell.com Found By: --- Using 11.0 alpha 2, KDE4 doesn't recognize the multimedia keys correctly. Most of the multimedia keys are recognized as Meta+Strg+Alt+Umschalt+(symbol like a square) -> in English Meta+Control+Alt+Caps+(symbol like a square). Others are recognized wrong: For example, Launch1 is recognized as Launch3, Launch2 is recognized as Launch4... The calculator key is recognized as Launch1. This occures when I use kcontrol -> Advanced -> Input Actions, but also when using normal KDE4 applications and assigning shortcuts there. As it occures in all applications that I've tested and also in kcontrol, I've choosen "KDE4 Workspace" as component for this issue. I've verified with xev that I get the right keysysm - that's working. The problem occures with all KDE4 applications (well, at least with some that I've tested), independently if I run the KDE4 application under a KDE4 desktop or under a KDE3 desktop. Vice versa KDE3 applications run always fine, independently if they run under a KDE3 or under a KDE4 desktop. So I asume this is a special KDE4 problem. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
