https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=368526 Summary: Nautilus: Send file to preferred email client Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Alpha 2plus Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: nteknikk@monet.no QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- The following has not worked on openSUSE so far as far as I know: When another email client than the default Evolution has been selected as the preferred application under the Gnome Control Center, i.e. Seamonkey: Then selecting a file in Nautilus, right click and select "Send to" from the menu. Still Email is Evolution and only Evolution is found on the menu, not the preferred Seamonkey email. I don't know if this also yelds for other email clients like i.e Groupwise. At the same time a Request for enhancement (RFE): A missing related useful and often used menu entry in Windows on the corresponding menu has been the combined feature: "Zip and Send to email", which starts the email client and add the zipped file as attachment Is this possible to add in openSUSE/Nautilus? ---------------- Terje J.
