https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=362528 Summary: Usersettings don't stick. Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Alpha 2 Platform: 64bit OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Blocker Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Applications AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: monkey9@iae.nl QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Beta-Customer No matter what config is made, the settings are lost when logged in new. This is one of the things that are very irritating, because you get the idea to be treated as a fool, or a child, or at a systems pc, where allways everything goes back to before you were there. This is a personal PC, so my personal settings i want to be respected. These things make me not want to test the software. Config made for an icon to stay away from the desktop. An icon that has to stay on the panel or desktop, settings for display, no setting will ever stay the way the user, me has configuered it. It gets as before, stays as unconfiguered. Kmix settings stay as default. no matter how many times you change them. If this stays this way, the user gets the impression to be treated as an idiot, to do everything for nothing, which can not be the intention. This might be a reason, that many people dislike KDE4 desktop.... -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
