https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=351061 Summary: boot.crypto handles "noauto" incorrectly Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: nordhaus@informatik.hu-berlin.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- The script /etc/init.d/boot.crypto does not correctly handle the 'noauto' parameter in /etc/crypttab. According to 'man crypttab', the noauto parameter "Causes boot.crypto to skip this record during boot". However, boot.crypto also skips this entry when it gets called directly. This means that an encrypted disk with noauto option cannot be mounted with boot.crypto because it _always_ gets skipped. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
