--- Comment #90 from Bruno Friedmann 2007-12-09 11:11:42 MST ---
Hello All,
Following this tread for more than a month, I really hope that new release
would correct my trouble.
But not.
now with kernel Linux c-3po 2.6.22.13-0.3-default #1 SMP 2007/11/19 15:02:58
UTC x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
and the lastest ipw drivers

The trouble stay the same :
the association with the ap is continously made and after just a second or less
(difficult for human to say) unmade.
I've try this with broadcasting ESSID or not with or without WEP/WAP
encryption.
syslog message indicate
kernel: ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): wlan0: link is not ready
When I switch off the wifi I've got this message
kernel: ipw3945: Error sending SCAN_ABORT_CMD: time out after 500ms.
Dec 9 19:05:14 c-3po kernel: ipw3945: Radio Frequency Kill Switch is On:
Dec 9 19:05:14 c-3po kernel: Kill switch must be turned off for wireless
networking to work.
Dec 9 19:05:15 c-3po kernel: ipw3945: Error sending ADD_STA: time out after
500ms.
Dec 9 19:05:15 c-3po kernel: ipw3945: Error sending RATE_SCALE: time out after

Just in case lspci -v
