https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=343906 Summary: gnome2root path variable in /etc/X11/xdm/Xsetup is incorrect Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: dg001@t-online.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Other When using Xinerama I recently recognized that the Xconsole is visible on the second monitor during logon when using GNOME with gdm as Windowmanager. Actually this should be switched of by the script /etc/X11/xdm/Xsetup, but the path set by the variable gnome2root doesn't exist. Either this should be corrected to: gnome2root=/usr/sbin or a link /opt/gnome/sbin must be set to /usr/sbin. I have tried the first solution and now the Xconsole is no longer displayed during logon. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
