https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=340733 Summary: Changing scheduler during installation has no effect Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: x86 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: ashaduri@yandex.ru QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: Customer During installation of openSUSE 10.3 there is a "System" section (IIRC), where one of the tabs contains an option to set the kernel IO scheduler and sysrq keys. If I set the scheduler to, e.g., "anticipatory", it doesn't get remembered - it's unset after the installation. I think this is the case with sysrq too, but I'm not sure. Don't know if it's related or not, but I'm using LILO instead of Grub. OpenSUSE 10.3, athlon64 X2, SATA disks, graphical installation. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
