--- Comment #2 from Peter Sjoberg 2007-10-20 23:45:55 MST ---
I'm also running OpenSuSE 10.3 and kde (qt) on a 64bit system and have problems
starting virtual-manager from commandline or yast. Don't know where this "Run
as a different user" option is so I can't test that but I know that sometimes
directly after reboot it works.
When I start from command line with just "virt-manager" it fails to connect and
the "Details" shows:
Unable to open connection to hypervisor URI 'xen://':
virConnectOpenReadOnly() failed could not
connect to xen://
Traceback (most recent call last):

if ret is None:raise libvirtError('virConnectOpenReadOnly() failed')
libvirtError: virConnectOpenReadOnly() failed could not connect to xen://
At the same time commands like "xm list" works ok.
