I don't know what to say here. When I power cycled the panel, the noise
(I didn't mention the noisey spots - but small areas of the screen had
what looked like noise) and the screen blanking out/coming back seemed to have
stopped. I did nothing more than hit the power button on the panel, and then
hit it again. All better.
That's really weird. I've used these panels for several months on a different
computer without trouble. I think something is going on between the ADD2
card/Intel chipset and the one panel. But since it goes away when I power
cycle the panel, it makes me not want to have this bug here unless we find
new evidence that it's really some sort of driver issue.
So I'm rejecting this bug... I guess we can re-open if we find new information
that implicates a driver or something. :(
