https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=332831 Summary: gnome vfs 2.18.0.1-28.5 does not allow reliant applications to save files Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: cameron.kellough@sri.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Beta-Customer I updated my 10.2 system to the newest gnome (says opensuse 10.3 on the splash screen) from the unstable repository and found that Openoffice 2.0.4.7 and Adobe Acrobat 8 were no longer able to save files due to the appearance of a gnome vfs error window when using the browse dialog to select a filename to save the file to. I searched my .xsessionerrors and found the following: (soffice.bin:30185): libgnomevfs-CRITICAL **: gnome_vfs_get_file_info_uri_cancellable: assertion `uri != NULL' failed (soffice.bin:30185): libgnomevfs-CRITICAL **: gnome_vfs_uri_unref: assertion `uri != NULL' failed (soffice.bin:30185): libgnomevfs-CRITICAL **: gnome_vfs_uri_ref: assertion `uri != NULL' failed (soffice.bin:30185): libgnomevfs-CRITICAL **: gnome_vfs_get_file_info_uri_cancellable: assertion `uri != NULL' failed I then reverted my gnome vfs version back to 2.16.1.23 and file save in acrobat and openoffice began working again. I believe that some kind of regression has occurred. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
