Hi,
I think I've found the solution, at least for suspend-to-disk (I haven't tried
s-to-ram since last time)... It appears the problem comes from my wireless
PCMCIA card.
The rt61pci module that comes with the distribution never worked for me, I've
always had to compile the rt61 module from http://rt2x00.serialmonkey.com; It
was working just fine on 10.2 and therefore I haden't tried the newest versions
of this module until I installed 10.3.
The newest versions seem to have a few problems especially when activating and
shutting down the card. So I made a few tests, and it appears that if I shut
the card down manually, eject it, then unload the rt61 module, the system will
go to sleep and resume successfully, even with X and Compiz running.
Sorry for wasting your time guys, I thought it was a powersave bug or similar
while it seems to come from my wireless card's driver...
Seb.
