--- Comment #3 from Thomas Fehr 2007-10-01 05:33:20 MST ---
I have not the slightest problem if decision makers decide to handle this
otherwise (as you said the needed functionality is already there).
Nevertheless the current behavior is not a bug, but the implementation is done
as requested by project management and deviation from this needs approval from
this side anyway.
BTW: bugzilla is for reporting bugs. I do not consider such requests as bug
reporting but demanding changed or extended functionality. Such things need
to be decided by project management, not by every individual bug reporter.
What if I change implementation according to your suggestion an I get next
a report that demands to go back to old behaviour because a user has got a
machine from someone else and does not have the slightest idea what LVM is
and how he could get rid of it. IMHO its is much easier for the experienced
LVM knowing user to explicitly request a LVM proposal (the button for this is
only one click away from proposal screen) as it is for the inexperienced user
to remove LVM from the disk and do a plain installation.
