https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=308200 Summary: Adding NFS mount at install time fails because of locking Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Beta 3 Platform: i686 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: fehr@novell.com ReportedBy: mvidner@novell.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- I install the DVD flavor over the network. In the partitioner, I tried to add an NFS mount during the installation (bivoj.suse.cz:/work) but it failed, with a generic error popup, and in the log I see mount -t nfs bivoj.suse.cz:/work /temporary/path and an error message about rpc.statd suggesting -o nolocks. When I add nolocks to the mount options widget, it does not help, the same mount command is tried. I suggest - honoring the user's options during the test mount - propagating the specific error messages to the popup - starting rpc.statd (well, maybe) Logs will follow. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
