https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=307672 Summary: getfacl reports "No such file or directory" on a valid symbolic link Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: Ulrich.Windl@rz.uni-regensburg.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- getfacl (acl-2.2.41) reports "No such file or directory" when being called on a valid symbolic link (that is "wc" on the same file name works). I'd expect usual semantics of sybolic links, that is follow the symbolic link. A strace shows that getfacl does a successful readlink() on the link (to get the target) and then an unsuccessful lstat() on the link _target_.
