First the usage of the "tmp" flag makes no sense for a directory like /home.
It can be used to encrypt filesystems like swap, /tmp or /var/tmp that can
loose their content after every reboot.
Please attach y2log files so I can see how you managed get that entry.
Additionally the handling of the "tmp" flag in boot.crypto seems to be
changed from SLES10 SP1. Ludwig please have a look.
