Summary: iwlwiifi: High CPU usage when Killswitch is on during
                    boot
           Product: openSUSE 10.3
           Version: Beta 2
          Platform: 64bit
        OS/Version: Other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P5 - None
         Component: Kernel
        AssignedTo: jg@xxxxxxxxxx
        ReportedBy: rhafer@xxxxxxxxxx

This is on my Thinkpad T60.

When I boot with having the Wireless Killswitch on  (i.e. WLAN if off) the
system is barely usable (mouse pointer reacts slowly and so on). I see this
process consuming 44% CPU all the time:

PID USER      PR  NI  VIRT  RES  SHR S %CPU %MEM    TIME+  COMMAND
 1917 root      20  -5     0    0    0 R   44  0.0   1:19.08 iwl3945/0

So it seems to be related to the iwlwifi driver.

Turning off the Killswitch fixes the problem. Even if I turned it on again
after that the iwl3945/0 process does increase it CPU usage any more.
