xev shows:
KeyRelease event, serial 31, synthetic NO, window 0x2000001,
root 0x79, subw 0x0, time 2290222109, (673,713), root:(677,746),
state 0x0, keycode 227 (keysym 0xff67, Menu), same_screen YES,
XKeysymToKeycode returns keycode: 117
XLookupString gives 0 bytes:
XFilterEvent returns: False
I just checked my /etc/X11/xorg.conf and saw, that there's no
Option "XkbModel"
in in Section "InputDevice". Maybe that's the reason and connected with Bug
#302107 I just found.
Here's how to reproduce it:
- # sax2 -r -m 0=fglrx
- click "change configuration" in SaX2, go to Keyboard and SaX2 shows
'Microsoft Natural Keyboard Pro / Microsoft Internet Keyboard Pro'. Actually
I'm not sure if this is the right Layout for my ThinkPad T60p, but that's the
one SaX2 selects by default and I don't know what other Layout I should select
instead.
- Don't touch any keyboard settings in SaX2, just exit and save configuration.
- after restart of X-System FN-key is mapped as Menu-key
