When other OS is present on the hard drive (like e.g. BSD), there are
additional partitions detected by Linux. This may look like this:
hda: hda1 hda2 hda3 hda4 < hda5 hda6 hda7 >
hda3:
sfdisk obtains the partition table from the system and it looks like this:
# sfdisk -l /dev/hda
