Not sure whether this fits in here:
Desktop icons for NTFS partitions were displayed after install, but not
accessible. As soon as ntfs-3g was installed they were gone, but partitions
accessible thru Nautilus.
After pulling the plug on the system last night while running Windows, the
icons were back on boot, looking like described above for state "unmounted" and
again no disk access ( no permission ).
Issuing a "mount -a" from a root terminal would inform me, NTFS had marked them
as locked and why don't I check back with Windows.
Booting to Windows, then rebooting to openSUSE would leave everything as
normal, only the desktop icons for the NTFS partitions were gone again.
Scratching head...
