https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=299645 Summary: Yast sw_single runs SUSEconfig immediately instead of downloading/installing packages first Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Alpha 6 Platform: i586 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: jvroosmalen@gmail.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com CC: jvroosmalen@gmail.com Found By: Beta-Customer Created an attachment (id=156949) --> (https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=156949) archive of /var/log/YAST2 After installation i wanted tot add some packages from the web-repositories. So i added these to the list of repositories. In Yast i opened software management. Here i selected the packages i wanted to install/remove (removing java-1_5 and installing java-1_6 and eclipse) When I was ready i clicked accept. I prompted that some additional packages would be installed, this was Ok. Then i saw the screen for downloading/installing the packages. After 1 second it moves to the screen SUSEconfig must write the setting... Then it prompts "do you want to install more packages? yes/no" i selected yes. In the installation summary still my packages where marked as to be installed (they where not installed). So i clicked Accept again. The same thing happened. I thought it some mistake of me, so i restarted YAST2. Same problem. I ran the online update (it worked and updated zypper). I tried again and it still didn't work. I even rebooted my system and tried the console interface instead of the KDE interface. The problem did not disappeare. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
