https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=297192 Summary: Use more readable repository names Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Alpha 7 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: francisg@gmail.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- On installation the user has the option whether to add the online oss and non-oss repository. When the repository is added, no name is specified so zypper/libzypp/yast just uses the date. Since we know the repositories, why not specify a repository name when adding them? It will make things like: * Reading repository '20070803-074222' cache * Reading repository '20070803-120438' cache * Reading repository '20070803-121002' cache ..a lot more meaningful. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
