https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=297098 Summary: kde apps aren't linked properly under gnome Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Alpha 7 Platform: x86 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: davidrak@msn.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Beta-Customer I am currently running the Gnome version of OpenSUSE 10.3 Alpha 7. I succesfully installed the latest version of amarok (1.4.6-13@1586) through both the Smart package manager and Yast's software management module and by using the factory repository. However, either way I install it there are no links made from within Gnome. By that I mean it doesn't show up under "More Applications..." and when I type in the amarok command from the command line it tells me "bash: amarok: command not found". Amarok is still installed and the command resides under /opt/kde3/bin. It runs just fine from that location, but just needs to be linked. I assume this would affect other kde apps as well. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
