There is a Plextor PX-716A DVDRecorder inside. The last days I recognized a strange problem; After a reboot, I cannot mount a original Video-DVD. The system says there a no tracks and that it is empty. When I put the DVD out and put a selfburned Data-CD inside, the CD will be mounted and everything is fine. If I then put the Video-DVD inside, it is mounted correctly. After a reboot the problem occurs again. What I have done: downgraded hal restarted hal restarted the PC nothing worked except for the workaround with the Data-CD.
