https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=296754 Summary: Unable to configure bluetooth due to missing bluez-util package on GNOME cd Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Alpha 7 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: eward@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Test Builds: http://kirk.provo.novell.com/dist/install/openSUSE-10.3-Alpha7/openSUSE-10.3... http://kirk.provo.novell.com/dist/install/openSUSE-10.3-Alpha7/openSUSE-10.3... Problem: The user is unable to configure bluetooth because the bluez-util package is not included in the GNOME CD. Steps to Reproduce - Install the system using the GNOME CD - Login to the Desktop - Main Menu | Control Center | Bluetooth - Enter the root password - Notice how the UI comes up and states that it will install bluez-utils. Press the continue button and notice how the package fails to get installed and the user is not able to configure bluetooth Expected Behavior User should be able to configure bluetooth using GNOME CD without having to resort to manually configuring additional repositories. If additional repos are needed for base packages, the UI should help walk the user through the process of setting up the needed repo and installation of the needed package. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
