--- Comment #6 from Thomas Fehr 2007-07-17 09:03:19 MST ---
I just looked at the logs, the proposal is the follwing:
Create extended raid partition isw_bgbiffdceh_Volume0_part1 (138.4 GB)
Create raid partition isw_bgbiffdceh_Volume0_part5 (70.5 MB) for /boot with
ext3
Create swap raid partition isw_bgbiffdceh_Volume0_part6 (2.0 GB)
Create raid partition isw_bgbiffdceh_Volume0_part7 (20.0 GB) for / with ext3
Create raid partition isw_bgbiffdceh_Volume0_part8 (116.4 GB) for /home with
ext3
Use /dev/VolGroup00/LogVol01 as swap
As I understand, you are complaining about the fact that swap device on LVM
is used automatically. As far as I see, this is what most people would expect.
But anyway, this is just a proposal and can hardly fit everyones needs exactly,
therefore it is quite easily possible to modify the proposal and remove the
usage of /dev/VolGroup00/LogVol01 as swap
I do not think that YaST2 should ignore swap LVM device, if present.
I even got bug reports before YaST2 automatically used such device for
swapping.
