https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=290806 Summary: Install to BIOS RAID trys to use swap on seperate non- RAID drive Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Alpha 5 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: AutoYaST AssignedTo: ug@novell.com ReportedBy: jason.d.gaston@intel.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- I have 3 SATA disks in a BIOS RAID (RAID0) set, which the BIOS is set to boot from. I also have 1 SATA disk that is not part of the RAID0 set that has another Linus OS installed on it. During setup from CD, I choose to "Create Custom Partition Setup" and then choose the "BIOS RAID isw_xxx_Volume0" logical dmraid volume to install to. When the Installation Settings list is displayed, it shows the swap going to "Use /dev/VolGroup00/LogVol01 as swap", which is on the non-RAID sda drive, even though a swap is also created on the "Create swap raid partition isw_xxx_Volume0_part2". The openSuSE 10.3 OS should use the swap it creates on the BIOS RAID volume. I don't want it to use the stand alone drive at all. This was found on an Intel ICH9R based system. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
