https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=287084 Summary: Missing configuration file in /etc/sysconfig for mysql Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Alpha 5 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: Network AssignedTo: mmarek@novell.com ReportedBy: anschneider@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- I miss a configuration file in /etc/sysconfig for mysql to add server parameters. The collation of MySQL is by default set to latin1_swedisch_ci. I want by default utf8. So I've added the following parameters to the init script. --character-set-server=utf8 --collation-server=utf8_general_ci It would be great if it is possible to add mysqld options in /etc/sysconfig/mysql and the default collation should be utf8. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
