https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=284497 Summary: KNetworkManager ignores manual connectivity Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: x86 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.2 Status: NEW Keywords: Bad_Design Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: olli@digger.org.ru QAContact: qa@suse.de I've set both interfaces (WLAN & Wired) on my Acer Aspire 5684WLMi to be user controlled and started manually. Though after login into KDE the eth0 device is connected and has dhcp assigned address. That is definitely a bug - if I set a network device to be manually controlled I assume that ANY action on it requires manual intervention. But I am getting the device restoring previose state w/o my permission. Didn't check that on WiFi yet. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
