https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=280339 Summary: Gnome cups config dialog pops up although printer is already configured Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Alpha 4plus Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: felix.rommel@web.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Description: I installed my DeskJet 930C with YaST2 printer config. But everytime I plug in the printer's USB cable gnome-cups-add dialog pops up although the printer is already configured! How to reproduce: 1. Configure your printer with YaST2 2. Unplug your printer 3. Plug in you printer 4. gnome-cups-add dialog pops up Expected behavior: If a printer is already configured there shouldn't pop up a gnome-cups-add configuration dialog. Another thing is: there are 2 printer configuration GUIs - gnome-cups-add and YaST2 printer config. I think it would be better to only include 1 graphical configuration application - otherwise it's confusing... -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
