https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=278950 Summary: grub does not recognize ntfs file system Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: i386 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: familie-faller@web.de QAContact: qa@suse.de I have 2 harddisks in my PC, /dev/hda and /dev/hdb. There are 2 Windows XP systems on the primary partition of each hard disk (hda1 and hdb1), and openSUSE 10.2 on hdb5. After using grub without any problems, I had to re-install the Windows XP on hda1 (I re-formatted the partition from NTFS to FAT). After that, I used a Suse 9.1 Install CD to re-install grub into the MBR. This worked fine, I can start Windows on hda1 and Linux. But I cannot start Windows on hdb1 anymore (which is still NTFS).
