https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=259746 Summary: KNetworkmanager don't pass the correct WPA key Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: i586 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Network AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: julugu@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de I have a wifi router and when I enter the WPA key to connect to it with KNetworkmanager it stalls at 58% and after a short time it dies and I can't connect. With root, when I type command iwconfig I see that the WPA key it has is not the one I have entered with KNetowrkmanager. My trick is to connect with KNetworkmanager entering a key and at the same time write the command "iwconfig essid MYESSDID key MYHEXKEY", and then I see that KNetworkmanager gets the correct key and connects to the router. It's like the key I enter at KNetworkmanager gets tranlated into another key and it can't connect to the router.
