https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=257326 Summary: Plugging in low battery on AC causes suspend attempt Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Mobile Devices AssignedTo: behlert@novell.com ReportedBy: ammulder@chariotsolutions.com QAContact: qa@suse.de I have a laptop with two batteries. I ran one down and shut down and switched to the other. Later I plugged in and charged up the second battery. At that point, while still on AC power, I unplugged the now-charged second battery, and plugged in the still-depleted first battery. At that point KPowersave threw up an alert that my battery power was critically low and said I should switch to AC power and immediately attempted to suspend. I don't think there should be any "low battery" actions taken when the laptop is on AC power at the time. If I unplugged, granted, it should suspend immediately, but I was on AC power the whole time, even when it popped up a dialog saying I should switch to AC power immediately. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
