https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=118131 ------- Comment #91 from cornelis@solcon.nl 2007-03-23 09:46 MST ------- I've googled a bit around and it seems to me that this bug report is about two (maybe more) problems. My own problems started with 10.2 (before 10.2 I was satisfied with my fonts and a far as I could see the bytecode was used) and are solved by changing /usr/fonts/suse-hinting.conf as mentioned in comment #83. According to this mail http://www.openoffice.org/servlets/ReadMsg?list=dev&msgNo=17880 something changed with freetype 2.2 wrt the way light hinting is handled. Light hinting is used by OpenOffice_org. This is solved by the fedora patch, because then the hinting as specified by fontconfig is used (in my case full hinting). The freetype from 10.2 doesn't use the bytecode with light hinting, but is does use it with the medium and full. So the problem before and after the inclusion of the fedora patch is different. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
