https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=255458 Summary: 'Skip All' button while loading Software Management Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Alpha 2 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: novell@custardfd.org.uk QAContact: jsrain@novell.com I use a number of package sources that take a long time to update when I load YaST Software Management. If I want to install a package from the openSUSE source, I know that I don't need the package list to be up-to-date, so being able to skip the sometimes >1 minute download process would be useful. For the purposes of consistency, I would suggest a 'Skip All' button that doesn't process any updated package lists, even if some have already been downloaded. I realise this may introduce the risk of downloading out-of-date packages with known vulnerabilities, but people with may additional sources probably accept themselves to that risk anyway. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
