https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=252545 Summary: /etc/init.d/SuSEfirewall2_init takes too long time to load iptables/netfilter modules at boot Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: i586 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: marco.pallotta@unipg.it QAContact: qa@suse.de When I boot the system, SuseFirewall2_init (phase 1 of 2) it takes too long time (more than 1,5 minutes) to display "Done". I debugged /sbin/SuseFirewall2 (the scripts that SuSEfirewall2 launches) and I've found that the loading of iptables modules take too much time (in 10.1 /etc/init.d/SuseFirewall2 was a "flash" to start). I have put severity to Major because the boot time got worse of about 100% -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
