https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=242033 ------- Comment #10 from scx.dps@gmail.com 2007-03-04 13:09 MST ------- (In reply to comment #9) You are NOT listening. 1.- I already said like a twozillion times about that clock. It is there in the lack of a better usage of that space, currently it is there just to fill that dead space if you can manage a better usage of it, tell. 2.- Ok, this is the only objective reply you posted. A full sized kicker doesn't have that problem, it's right, my head will mess around about it. About the like it or not... 3.- Not if the icons are consistent with the design of Crystal, just like the "Leave" icon does already, but remember there's something called Oxygen icons: http://www.oxygen-icons.org/ That would be consistent. Even David Vignoni is moving in the direction I mentioned as Mac did and Vista too. (Do you really like crystal? Nobody likes crystal anymore, it's pretty outdated.) 4.- You didn't understand the "Search" part, you don't have to click anything, and I already told that in the IRC. Maybe you haven't noticed that these little icons appear already in kickoff, but in the buttom of the app which is inconsistent to the search part, and the fact that you haven't seen that demonstrate it. Anyways, I just got a better idea I will publish in few days a new mock-up Finally: Nope. The kind of customisation I propose is very similar to the way the customisation of KDM works already. The most appreciated feature of KDE is precisely it's flexibility. What I said is not even close to the edge of what Qt-KDE already is capable to do and does. All main applications are customizable: kickoff, KDM, kicker, konqueror, etc.. I won't say Konqui is cheap, and it is the diamond in KDE's crown. --------- In short you say: The default aspect and layout has to be static and never changed, anyone that likes something else is very wrong wrong wrong. But, that's ok, to act of reading your post gave me a couple of ideas I'll publish soon. To make it clear: The aesthetical aspect in the muck-up is merely transitional, what cares here is the layout. Talking about the aspect is not what this post is intended to discuss. --------- -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
